Plans to build gondola linking Seattle waterfront unveiled
The half-mile long Union Street Gondola will be able to move 1,800 people an hour and will be funded solely through private investment.

SEATTLE — Developers announced plans Tuesday to build a gondola that would carry passengers from the Convention Center down Union Street to the waterfront with a stop at Pike Place Market, The Seattle Times reported.
