Rowland to serve as Cincinatti Metro interim COO
Carlos Rowland will be responsible for overseeing Metro’s fixed-route and Access’ paratransit bus operations, fleet maintenance and facilities, which employ nearly 700 employees.

Carlos Rowland has been selected to serve as Interim Chief Operations Officer at Cincinatti's Metro.
Rowland will be responsible for overseeing Metro’s fixed-route and Access’ paratransit bus operations, fleet maintenance and facilities, which employ nearly 700 employees.
With more than 40 years of transit operations and maintenance experience, Rowland has served as Director of Metro’s Queensgate Operating garage, and most recently as Director of Maintenance. Previously, he held the roles of Acting Maintenance Director and Maintenance consultant for Professional Transit Management LLC (formerly TransDev).
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
