The Dodge Sprinter Shuttle has been redesigned to expand its capacity to 15 passengers. It also boasts a more modern, streamlined exterior.
Officials at DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North America (DCCBNA) said the shuttle will continue to offer exceptional fuel economy.
"The all-new, super-sized Sprinter shuttle bus simply increases the versatility of the vehicle, while continuing to offer best-in-class fuel economy and unmatched ride and maneuverability," said Patrick Scully, DCCBNA's chief commercial officer.
The new Sprinter's dimensions include an increased length, to 289.2 inches, and an increased width, to 78.5 inches. The height of the vehicle was also boosted, to 78.5 inches. The 2007 Sprinter is powered by an all-new 3.0L CDI turbo-diesel V-6 engine with 154 hp and a maximum torque of 280 lb.-ft. at 1,200 to 2,400 rpm.
