Texas city solves paratransit service issue
The former provider of the service, the Collin County Area Regional Transit, terminated service in Collin County in June 2013. The newly signed agreement between the city of Frisco, Texas and and Texoma Area Paratransit System will go into effect on Dec. 1.
FRISCO, Texas — With plans up in the air since September, the City of Frisco reaches a 12-month agreement with the Texoma Area Paratransit System (TAPS) for demand-response transit services, reported the Frisco Enterprise.
The former provider of the service, the Collin County Area Regional Transit, terminated service in Collin County in June 2013. The newly signed agreement between the city of Frisco and TAPS will go into effect on Dec. 1, and the cost will be a fixed annual amount of $150,000. For the full story, click here.
