Trailways launches revamped Website
New features include online reservations and itinerary management.
Trailways Transportation System has launched an interactive travel portal at www.trailways.com, enabling consumers to schedule and book group-charters and tours online.
The earlier version of Trailways' Website was mainly informational. Trailways' new e-portal, developed, hosted and maintained by Accelar Inc., permits travel consumers to interact one-on-one with any one of the network’s transport and tourism service providers.
New site features include interactive trip-planning integrated with Google Maps and itinerary planning and management accessible through secured log-in for each customer. Trailways service providers are provided with additional marketing features, such as specific lead generation, search engine optimization, quote management and an online ticketing and reservation system.
The company reports over 50 percent more in charter-quote request activity in the past few months.
