Trans/Air Manufacturing, supplier of high quality climate control products and services to the transportation industry, is displaying its RT65 & SL900 rooftop systems at EXPO.
The RT65 is a compact, low-profile, roof-mounted unit designed for commercial vehicles as well as school buses. The flexible RT65 system can be installed in single or dual configuration to suit a range of vehicle sizes and AC specification requirements.
A single RT65 roof-mount system with a 13 CID automotive compressor yields a capacity of 40K (SAE)/64K (IMACA) BTU/hr, while a dual RT65 configuration, with dual 13 CID automotive compressors or, in selected applications, single TM43 transit compressor, yields a capacity of 80K (SAE)/128K (IMACA) BTU/hr.
The Streamline SL900 is a light-weight, low-profile roof-mounted unit designed for heavy-duty application on motorcoaches and transit buses.
The SL900, when paired with a single 775cc transit compressor, yields a capacity of 150K (SAE)/240K (IMACA) Btu/hr. Distinctive advantages of the service friendly SL900 include a 10% smaller size and 20% weight reduction from previous models.
Systems, service, training, warranty, and new or aftermarket installations are available throughout North America.
