U. Wis.-Milwaukee offering transit fleet mgmt. classes online
The four-week classes, for beginning or advanced level drivers, trainers and managers, will analyze the principles of vehicle operations and maintenance in order to save money and improve service.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is now offering a new online class covering transit fleet management.
The classes will analyze the principles of vehicle operations and maintenance in order to save money and improve service. The four-week “asynchronous” online class is for beginning or advanced level drivers, trainers and managers, requiring three to four hours of log-in time per week at the convenience of the participant.
The on-line course is comprised of three components:
1. Corporate Fleet Management
- Fleet Management Case Study
- How Successful Fleets Work and Stay Competitive
- Vehicle Specification and Procurement
2. Shop Management
-Fleet Equipment and Maintenance Management
3. Green Garages
- Modernize Shop for Safety, Green and Productivity
