Carroll, Iowa’s Windstar Lines is continuing adding new coaches to its fleet, including its newest addition of a 56 passenger 2018 Van Hool CX45.
“Windstar started with a 1992 Van Hool T-800, our bus #01 and now this coach is our bus #187,” said Scott Greteman, Windstar’s VP. “It has been 23 years since my parents, Mike and Cathy, started the business, and we’ve been dealing with ABC for all 23 of them.”

Leadership of the company has passed to the next generation, with Jeff Greteman as president teamed with brothers, Scott and Pat, running the company. Their fleet has grown to 112 motorcoaches operating out of nine locations throughout the Midwest.
The newest delivery is powered by a Cummins ISX 12-liter engine coupled to an Allison B500 transmission. The coach features Kiel Grand Luxe passenger seats with leather headrest inserts, magazine nets, and 110-volt outlets. In addition, the passenger cabin has wood-grained flooring, a six monitor REI Elite entertainment system, Van Hool’s unique rear window, and passenger window shades.
It is also equipped with Van Hool safety features including three-point seatbelts, backup camera, lane departure warning, antilock brakes, Smartwave Tire Pressure Monitoring, Kidde Fire Suppression Systems, automatic stability control, daytime running lights, curbside lighting, and adaptive static aiming lights.
The company's flagship H3-45 is also the best-selling 45-foot motorcoach in North America, according to vehicle registration data from S&P Global Mobility (Polk).

The new facility, spanning more than 43,000 square feet, includes pre-delivery inspection, a large repair, maintenance, and service center, an administrative building, and a dedicated training and delivery center for customers and service partners.
The company will feature a fully equipped 2026 Van Hool CX45 alongside an interactive virtual showroom highlighting the company’s latest vehicle, service, parts, and support solutions.
