2 Mississippi universities to add Vicinity buses
Ordered through Grande West's U.S. dealer, Alliance Bus Group.
Grande West Transportation Group Inc. a Canadian manufacturer of mid-sized transit vehicles in Canada and the U.S., announced new purchase orders for Buy America Vicinity buses by two Mississippi-based transit agencies through its U.S. dealer Alliance Bus Group.
Grande West received purchase orders for five Vicinity buses from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi and for two Vicinity buses from Mississippi State in Starksville, for deliveries in 2019 and early 2020.
The orders, valued at over $2.2 million, are initial orders of a five-year consortium contract with Mississippi-based transit agencies announced on Oct. 29, 2018.
