ABC Companies has acquired Muncie Transit Supply, including its Ontario, Canada, subsidiary, Baker Transit Parts.

Muncie is the largest independent supplier of replacement parts to the transit bus industry in North America, offering all major products lines and service parts to customers.

ABC principals say that the acquisition is part of their growth strategy to expand and support its core business of motorcoach and transit equipment sales and make more product lines available to coach and transit operators.

The Muncie purchase will make ABC one of the largest suppliers to the transit and coach market, according to the company.
