ANAHEIM, Calif. — Activist groups have raised concerns about what they say is a conflict of interest with Curt Pringle serving as Anaheim mayor and chairman of the California High Speed Rail Authority, and have asked the state's attorney general to investigate whether the offices are "incompatible", reported the OC Register. Those groups argue that his role as Anaheim mayor and as a board member of the Orange County Transportation Authority conflict with Pringle's high-speed rail role, because those local agencies must deal with complicated land-use and financial deals related to the rail authority.
