Canisteo, New York-based Advanced Transit Manufacturing (ATM), a manufacturer of integrated build to print solutions for public transit, aerospace, and alternative energy has received its DBE certification and is providing contract manufacturing services to prime contractors needing to fulfill SBE/DBE participation goals.

ATM will be listed in the NYS Unified Certification Program’s Directory of Certified DBEs, allowing them to participate in local and federally funded projects. Owned and operated by Margaret Walsh, ATM specializes in build to print electro-mechanical assembly and wire harnessing/cabling. Founded in 1996, ATM is also a leader in repair, refurbishment and service work.

ATM is ISO 9001:2008 certified; operating under lean manufacturing and 5S principals, taking projects from the print stage to final product. The company produces all of its products in the U.S. and, with a recent investment in technology, reduced production time by 60 percent on average for cabling and wire harnessing.
