[IMAGE]Alstom-Tramway-DijonFull.jpg[/IMAGE] The French cities of Brest and Dijon selected Alstom Transport to supply 52 Citadis tramsets, representing a total of more than $146 million. Brest will receive 20 tramsets, while 32 tramsets will go to Dijon.

Tramset features include an integral low floor, air conditioning and a video surveillance system, as well as onboard visual and audio information. Each tramset will be 104 feet in length and will accommodate more than 200 passengers, or the capacity of three buses.

The Citadis tramset is also 98 percent recyclable and consumes 10 percent less energy than a traditional tram.
