Alstom wins 2 French orders
Contracts total approximately $47.3 million.
Alstom Transport has won two orders totaling approximately $47.3 million from Reseau Ferre de France for the Rhine-Rhone high-speed line project.
The first order, awarded to a consortium led by Alstom, is for preliminary studies, signaling work and the supply of signaling equipment for the Eastern branch of the high-speed rail line. The contract includes preliminary studies and work on cables and control centers, and the supply, installation and testing of in-line equipment.
Meanwhile, the second order relates to the supply of a new generation computerized interlocking control unit for the Dijon-Perrigny station. The order is the first to be implemented under the framework contract signed in 2006 by RFF and Alstom, regarding the deployment of PAI-NG technology in the French network.
Both contracts will mainly involve Alstom’s facilities in Saint-Ouen and Villeurbanne, France.
