Yahoo! Inc. and Amtrak today rolled out the United States' first Internet-enabled passenger trains. The three interactive trains will operate on the Acela Regional in the Northeast, the Capitols in Northern California and the Hiawathas in the Midwest every day for six months. Pocket PCs mounted in the cafe cars or coaches use wireless modems and Internet service. The service is free-of-charge to passengers.
