Dr. John Stancil, President of Nashville, Tenn.-based Anchor Trailways & Tours announced the company's recent acquisition of Smyrna Motorcoach Services Inc. Eugene Mullins, former owner of Smyrna Motorcoach Services, will remain as an operator and sales representative of Anchor Trailways & Tours in Rutherford County.
"My wife and I founded Anchor Trailways & Tours in Murfreesboro 20 years ago with just one motorcoach," said Dr. Stancil, "we have since grown to 95 motorcoaches and are now the largest privately-owned motorcoach operator in Tennessee. We are so pleased to once again have a personal presence in the communities where we started. With our state-of-the-art equipment and Eugene's relationship with area travelers, we look forward to expanding our safe, comfortable and innovative motorcoach charter and tour services in the Rutherford area."
