Attendees at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Rail Conference in Toronto, Canada, will have the opportunity to participate in the association's Fifteenth Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on June 5, 2007, which raises funds for the American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF), the scholarship fund of APTA.
A Canadian National Hockey League player will participate in the tournament, which will take place at the Royal Woodbine Golf Club in Toronto.
The event will begin with a box lunch at the golf club, followed by the start of the tournament at 1:00 p.m. and an awards reception with trophies and prizes.
The registration fees are $180 for individuals and $680 per foursome. Under the Internal Revenue Code, $60 of individual fees and $180 of foursome fees is deductible as a charitable contribution.
