Ark. coach crashes into overpass, kills 6
The bus was traveling westbound in North Little Rock when it crashed into an overpass shortly before 1 a.m., ejecting some of the passengers it was carrying. The driver is among the injured.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Six people were killed and six more injured early Friday when a charter bus hit an overpass on Interstate 40 in Arkansas, NBC News reported.
The bus was traveling westbound in North Little Rock when it crashed shortly before 1 a.m., ejecting some of the passengers it was carrying. The driver, who was among the injured, is licensed in the state of Michigan and was set to be tested for drugs and alcohol, however, officials said there were no indications that he was under the influence.
