ARLINGTON, Texas — The city launched its first mass transit service, a commuter bus route called the Metro ArlingtonXpress, which will transport passengers between Arlington and the Trinity Railway Express’ CentrePort Station, linking them to North Texas’ broader transit system.

The two-year pilot program is jointly operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority.
