Autobuses Rio Verde, of Irving, Texas, was ordered to cease operations by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) after determining that the company was affiliated with Green River Bus LLC, which was ordered to cease operations in April 2008.

An investigation of Autobuses Rio Verde by FMCSA revealed that the owners and operators were in violation of the April 2008 order by conducting interstate transportation as a substantial continuation of Green River Buses LCC's former operation.

The investigation revealed that the two companies shared identification of company officials and functions, physical addresses, vehicle ownership, employee identification and operational similarities.
