Bombardier Transportation signed a seven-year contract with the City and County of Denver, Department of Aviation (CCD), to operate and maintain the Bombardier Innovia APM 100 automated people mover system at Denver International Airport (DIA) from 2011 to 2017. The contract is valued at approximately $101 million.
The new contract follows more than 15 years of successful cooperation between Bombardier and CCD. The Innovia APM 100 system is an integral part of the airport's operations and it first opened for passenger services with inauguration of the new airport in 1995.
