SAN FRANCISCO — The now defunct San Francisco luxury bus company startup Leap Transit, which was shut down for operating illegally in May, is selling one of its party buses on eBay, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
After a beta run in 2013, Leap, which featured a luxurious ride and amenities like gourmet coffee and Wi-Fi, commenced operations in March. About a month later, a disability advocacy group threatened to sue Leap for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act if the company didn’t reinstall handicap-accessible features that it had removed from the buses.
