BusRates.com announce that it launched its expanded site. In conjunction with the NTA and UMA, the site opened its doors to the entire group travel market and now offers listings for hotels, restaurants, attractions, events and all other group activities.

Up until now, the site was a directory solely of bus and motorcoach companies used by group travel planners who were looking to charter a bus. Launched in 2005, the site became an overwhelming success-drawing visits by over 100,000 group travel planners each month, according to company officials.

With the addition of travel industry supplier listings, the site has grown from 1,000 listings to more than 7,500 total listings making it a full-service resource that makes planning a complete motorcoach trip easier and less time consuming.

"We are excited to be providing a straightforward, all-encompassing process for group planners and tour operators to find new group destinations for their travelers," said Eric Elliott, program manager for BusRates.com.

In addition to expanding its reach, the site has also gone through a complete redesign to improve usability for both the users and subscribers. Expanded maps and featured content on the site help users learn about all the options for a given destination, and listed companies now have the ability to post more images, brochures and social media links to enhance their listing.

"These enhancements improve the user's experience by allowing them to more easily find the bus company and other travel suppliers with whom they want to do business," said Elliott. "They can now see more detailed search results, photos and see other customer's reviews to quickly and easily make an informed decision when booking their group travel."
