Riders using the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) LYNX Blue line will now be able to use credit cards at ticket vending machines (TVMs).

When purchasing tickets, the customer selects the type of ticket to buy and how many; the screen then prompts the customer to choose the type of payment, which will be cash or credit. After choosing the payment type, the tickets and a receipt will print.
The TVMs only take credit cards at this time. Debit cards with the MasterCard or Visa logo can be used as a credit card at the TVMs. The debit feature will be available later this year.
