The CEO of Memphis Area Transit Authority discusses how AVs could assist in limiting transit deserts in a conversation with Paul Comfort.
Earlier this year at the ThinkTransit Conference, attendees were lucky enough to experience a demo of an autonomous vehicle. But, it wasn’t just attendees. Paul Comfort, VP of Business Development at Trapeze Group, took advantage of the opportunity and sat down with some of the top transit leaders to discuss autonomous vehicles.
Asked if the incorporation of autonomous vehicles could benefit Memphis, Gary Rosenfeld, CEO of Memphis Area Transit Authority, said that it could assist in limiting transit deserts. But, to unleash the full potential of autonomous vehicles we need to wait for the public’s acceptance of this technology.
