CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — An analysis of Chapel Hill Transit service finds it differs from other university shuttle services during the summer months, as its ridership stays fairly consistent,The Daily Tar Heel reported.

The transit system, which covers a combination of Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the University, will go from 27,000 rides a day when school is session to 22,000 rides a day during the summer, rounding out to about 6.9 million trips a year, according to the report.
