FONTANA, Calif. — As part of a pilot program, students attending Chaffey College, Crafton Hills College, San Bernardino Valley College and California State, San Bernardino are eligible for free rides on Omnitrans buses, Fontana Herald News reported.
Students can use their student ID card to ride Omnitrans at any time on any route, not just for trips to and from campus. At the end of the one-year College Free Pass pilot program, Omnitrans will seek student support to continue the program by making it sustainable through student fees. For the full story, click here.
