NEW YORK — Lawyers for Ophadell Williams, the driver in the March 12 tour bus accident that killed 15 people, said that he claims he was sober, rested and fully awake at the time of the crash, The New York Times reports.
Williams said that he was in control of the bus until a passing tractor-trailer veered suddenly toward it in the dark on Interstate 95, according to one of the lawyers. For the full story, click here.
