BOSTON — In an effort to boost sales, Dunkin' Donuts sprayed the smell of coffee on buses in Seoul, South Korea. The spray, known as “Flavor Radio,” was set off by the sound of the company’s advertisement when it played on the buses speakers.
Dunkin’ Donuts, which ran the testing for several months before it ended in April, reported that their coffee sales went up by 29% during the campaign, BostInno.com reported.
