The U.S. Administration for Community Living’s Strengthening Inclusive Coordinated Transportation Partnerships to Promote Community Living program has issued a Request for Proposals for innovative inclusive transportation planning projects.

Grants of up to $20,000 will be given to up to 20 organizations for a six-month period to assist in the documentation, further development and replication of models for involving seniors and people with disabilities in the planning, design and implementation of coordinated transportation systems or processes.

Awards will be made through a competitive process to the most qualified applicants who are able to demonstrate experience with engaging and empowering older adults and people with disabilities, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in coordinated transportation system planning. Transit agencies could consider connecting with local human service organizations, such as Easter Seals affiliates, to apply for this grant.  

The Strengthening Inclusive Coordinated Transportation Partnerships to Promote Community Living project is funded by the U.S. Administration for Community Living and is administered by the Community Transportation Association of America in partnership with Easter Seals, the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Westat.
