GroupConnect.com, the new American Bus Association (ABA) and Ontario Motor Coach Association (OMCA) joint online portal, named Jennifer Lynne Powers to the new position of vice president of sales & marketing.  

Powers most recently served as director of leisure sales & service for Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. She has also held other key positions in the travel industry, including district sales manager for Collette Vacations, travel industry sales manager for Opryland Hotel, director of sales & marketing for Destinations of New York State and corporate sales manager for the Radisson Hotel & Quality Inn in Buffalo, New York. 

GroupConnect is being developed specifically for the motorcoach, tour and travel industry as a way for ABA and OMCA members to increase their opportunities to network with the group travel business, as well to provide access to new educational resources.
