Harsco Rail, a division of Harsco Corp., signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Protran Technology to be the exclusive worldwide representative and distribution agent for Protran products.

"The partnership between Protran Technology and Harsco will expedite our mutual goals of promoting safety in the rail industry through real time advanced warning technology,” said Shannon Bailey, VP, Protran Technology. “We are excited to be able to leverage Harsco’s global sales network to take our products to market.”

Protran Technology is a provider of safety products, including collision avoidance. The company specializes in technology development, asset monitoring, advance warning, and voltage awareness devices and has been providing U.S. transit systems with technical and manufacturing expertise for the past 15 years.
