WAILUKU, Hawaii — The Maui News reported that after Maui County’s recent switch in paratransit service providers, from Roberts Hawaii to Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. (MEO), some riders are complaining about delays in service and drivers who appear unaccustomed to routes and dealing with people with disabilities.
Lyn McNeff, CEO of MEO, told the paper that she understands some of the concerns that riders are reporting. She added that the company is in a "transition period," having just acquired 27 paratransit buses and vehicles from Roberts Hawaii on July 1 to service clients. For the full story, click here.
