Houston Metro chief resigns
As part of the resignation, the Board authorized Chairman Gilbert Garcia to sign a Mutual Termination and General Release agreement with Wilson.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority of Harris County, Houston (Metro) President/CEO Frank J. Wilson resigned at a Special Board meeting last Friday.
As part of the resignation, the Board authorized Chairman Gilbert Garcia to sign a Mutual Termination and General Release agreement with Wilson.
It also authorized Garcia to negotiate a contract with former Houston City Controller George Greanias to serve as interim President/CEO, while the Board conducts a search for a replacement for Wilson.
Garcia said Greanias began work on Monday.
Today, Capital Metro’s Board of Directors announced the two finalists for the position of President/CEO following an extensive national search by Gilbert Tweed Associates:
Deborah Wathen Finn, currently President of The Wathen Group LLC and
Linda S. Watson, currently the CEO of the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority.
