Calgary-based manufacturer of audio and visual message delivery systems, Interalia Inc. acquired Envitech Communication Inc. from the parent company Envitech Automation Inc. (Quebec).
As a result of the acquisition, Interalia created a wholly-owned subsidiary called Interalia Systems Corp., which will continue to do business as Envitech Communication. The new company will retain the current employees and management structure of Envitech and continue operations at their Pointe-Claire facility.
According to company officials, the acquisition is a positive for move for customers because the new Envitech Communication solutions complement Interalia’s existing applied systems product line and enable both companies to delivery high quality, transportation and telecommunications solutions throughout the world.
The acquisition will expand Interalia’s focus on the supply of communications equipment to the North American light, heavy and commuter rail industry and it enables Envitech Communication to team with Interalia on platform based signage, surveillance and annunciation systems all over the world, Interalia CEO Bob Cormack said in a statement.
Caltrain and its partners have implemented safety improvements at specific locations in response to known risk conditions, operational needs, and available funding since the agency’s founding.
