Neenah, Wis.-based J. J. Keller and Associates Inc., a provider of risk and regulatory management solutions, has added a New Entrant Resource Center to its Website to provide motor carriers with information about the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) New Entrant Audit Rule.
In addition to the new rule and other regulatory issues, the site covers a number of business issues that new motor carriers must address. The business area of this resource center explains the basics of operating a motor carrier business, including the business plan, banking and accounting; insurance; establishing basic policies and procedures; and the differences among sole proprietor, partnership, corporation and limited liability companies.
