NEW YORK — A Brooklyn Supreme Court judge ruled that serial bus and train thief Darius McCollum suffers from a “dangerous mental disorder” that requires him to be treated in a secure facility, the New York Daily News reports.

McCollum, who has been arrested at least 30 times for stealing buses or trains by impersonating train operators or bus operators and driving their routes, was first arrested when he was 15 for commandeering a train operating from 34th Street downtown the World Trade Center.

The judge committed McCollum in a case stemming from the theft of a Greyhound bus in 2015 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown. For the full story, click here.
