MCI bringing its reliability-driven vehicles and more to UMA Expo 2016
Will showcase two new 2016 J4500 coaches with a tighter-turning independent front suspension system, new two-door Setra S 417 Top Class and more.

Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. announced that innovations in motorcoach technology and luxury, industry-leading parts and training programs and a bit of fun will headline the activities at MCI Booth 1112 at UMA EXPO 2016, Jan. 31 to Feb. 4.
To begin, MCI will showcase two new 2016 J4500 coaches with a tighter-turning independent front suspension system. The latest MCI best sellers will feature smooth-stopping Bendix braking, with an optional radar-based collision avoidance system. These coaches will demonstrate a new optional severe-duty package designed for harsh road environments.
Throughout, MCI representatives will be available to share data on the J4500’s low total cost of operation, leading fuel economy and 10-year residual-value advantage.
MCI will also present a two-door Setra S 417 Top Class with club corner lounge, exquisitely trimmed Voyage Ambassador seats, TopSky glass roof, galley, a rear window and more. Key Daimler and Setra representatives from Europe will be available to discuss the latest Setra S 417 advances and how such luxury makes Setra such a fleet-differentiating choice for leading operators around the U.S. and the world.
More on Parts, Technician Training and the new MCI Companion App
Proving it’s driven to serve, MCI Service Parts will provide details on new parts programs and technician training expansion, and will demonstrate the new MCI Companion App. Smartphone users with MCI and Setra fleets are now able to connect instantaneously to all things MCI — the app features fast, mobile access to an Interactive map of MCI service center locations, one-touch calling for technical and emergency roadside assistance, parts promotions, product information and much more.
We’re looking for eRating Driver of the Month
Know an idle-free hero? MCI invites operators to nominate drivers for the eRating Driver of the Month Award. Open to drivers of all coach makes and models, the award is sponsored by MCI in cooperation with the Certification of Sustainable Transportation at the University of Vermont. Nomination forms will be available at MCI’s booth 1112.
Join us for the Setra Biergarten and Prize Drawings
MCI is hosting a Setra Biergarten with a sampling of authentic German beers and snacks, Feb. 2, 2: p.m. to 5 p.m. MCI will also give away an Apple iWatch and other prizes to qualified entrants. Winners will be chosen from those who play its Reliability Driven Roadmap to Win game available at the MCI booth, where the Grand Prize drawing takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m
