SEARCHHeartland recently completed an addition to its headquarter offices; moved its Topeka, Kansas, branch to a larger location; and added four new MCI models, including the two newest, to its fleet this year.
[IMAGE]110408.jpg[/IMAGE] MCI delivered two new J4500s to St. Joseph, Mo.-based Heartland Trailways, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The new jet-black J4500s feature a Cummins engine coupled with a ZF Astronic transmission, as well as burgundy leather seats by Amaya, cup holders, coat hooks, LED reading lights and a Blaupunkt entertainment system including six, 15-inch flat-screen monitors.
Satellite television and radio provide additional entertainment options, while Wi-Fi connectivity and 110-volt outlets throughout the cabin let passengers recharge electronic devices and stay connected.

The survey, produced by the ABA’s research arm, the American Bus Association Foundation, reports quarterly on data collected from surveys of major motorcoach manufacturers that sell vehicles in the US and Canada.
