MCI announced it has rolled out the MCI Super-60 limited warranty on its J4500 model, which extends coverage on many components to five years and expands coverage on several components that carry warranty terms shorter than the applicable base limited warranty.

The MCI Super-60 limited warranty applies only to contracts for the future delivery of new 2010 and later model MCI J4500 coaches both quoted and signed on or after Feb. 23, 2010.

Components now covered at five years under the MCI Super-60 limited warranty include the A/C compressor, brushless motors, condenser cores and heater cores. In addition, hubs, wheel seals and bearings on both pre-set and unitized wheel ends will carry a limited warranty term of three years or 300,000 miles, whichever comes first, compared to the previous term of one year or 50,000 miles.

For a full list of the updated limited warranty terms and conditions as well as an explanation of how the new limited warranty terms will be implemented, please speak to an MCI sales representative.

All customers who purchase new MCI coaches are able to access their warranty information using MCI's Customer Care System, an online system designed for secure and immediate access to warranty files and claims. This user-friendly system makes it possible for customers to file warranty claims, order warranty replacement parts and check claim and payment status. For more information, visit MCI's Website.
