L.A. proposes new light rail line to airport
LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles officials are proposing a new light rail line to Los Angeles International Airport that would essentially close the biggest gap in the region’s mass transit system. WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) board of directors has named Jack Requa, its chief operating officer for bus service, to replace Dan Tangherlini as acting general manager.
