WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority will spend $1.7 million on five pieces of artwork along the Dulles Metrorail project, which will tie the region’s subway system to the international airport. For the full story, click here.
Port Authority to take over project
NEW YORK – To ensure the project remains on time and on budget, construction of the $3 billion Santiago Calatrava transit hub at the World Trade Center site will be managed by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey instead of a joint venture of private firms. For the full story, click here.
