Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., has an opening for a transit operations supervisor.

The operations supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the campus shuttle bus system. Responsibilities include scheduling drivers, interviewing driver applicants, coordinating drug/alcohol testing, reviewing driver logs and driving established campus shuttle routes. The operations supervisor also coordinates driver training and schedules maintenance and repair of the bus fleet.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a Class C commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement. The candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills and must be available to drive days, evenings and weekends regardless of weather conditions.

The salary is commensurate with the candidate’s experience and education.
