NEW YORK — Modified train service into and out of Penn Station continued on Wednesday and will persist "for the foreseeable future" as the result of a minor derailment Monday morning, NJ Advance Media reports.
NJ Transit made a number of service adjustments for the Wednesday commute involving train, bus, and ferry service, while train service continued to operate on a holiday schedule along the Northeast Corridor and Central Coast lines into and out of Penn Station. The modified service will likely be in effect at least through the close of the service day Thursday, NJ Transit officials said.
