Brian Kibby is the former president of McGraw-Hill Higher Education, a leading innovator in the development of 21st century learning solutions for postsecondary and higher education markets worldwide.
Brian Kibby was named CEO of MV Transportation Inc., effective this week.
Kibby is the former president of McGraw-Hill Higher Education, a leading innovator in the development of 21st century learning solutions for postsecondary and higher education markets worldwide. At McGraw-Hill, Kibby was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the higher education business and the development of market-leading digital tools, platforms and services. He began his career at the company in 1991 as an account executive and later served as president and GM of McGraw-Hill Education in Australia and New Zealand.
As MV prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary, company founder Alex Lodde, who has served as interim CEO for the past four months, said it was important to the board that the new CEO has a vision consistent with the board’s belief that MV’s employees and clients are the company’s most important resources. Listed as one of 10 “CEO Ready Leaders” in a 2013 Forbes Magazine article, Kibby says he is excited to join MV during this milestone year.
