The MVTA is promoting that "Your Library Card is your Ticket to Ride" on the State Fair's Read and Ride Day, Sept. 2. In addition to the discount bus fare on MVTA buses, fair patrons get a reduced admission by showing their library card and there will be discounts on Midway rides.

"MVTA has been a long-time customer of American Seating's, so we are excited to collaborate with them and help increase ridership in Burnsville," said Dave McLaughlin, vice president of transportation sales for American Seating.

MVTA is the public transportation provider for residents and businesses of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Rosemount, and Savage.
