North Carolina's High Point University (HPU) hired Walter Gibson as its director of transportation.

North Carolina's High Point University (HPU) hired Walter Gibson as its director of transportation.
Gibson says that he takes great pride in his role overseeing all of the transportation that HPU provides.
"We have trolleys that pick up students and take them to different locations and class. We have employee shuttles, and we provide transportation to all student activities - including all sports and clubs," Gibson says. "We also provide transportation on special weekends, such as the Presidential Scholarship Weekend.
"This is something that I really enjoy," Gibson adds. "I love the job, and it's exciting to watch the growth and activities that happen here at High Point University."
HPU, located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, is a liberal arts institution with 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students from 50 countries and 44 states at campuses in High Point and Winston-Salem.
