North American Bus Industries Inc. (NABI) acquired the assets of Imperial Group L.P.’s Anniston, Ala. facility.
The Imperial facility previously served as a sub-contractor to NABI.
“We intend to grow this operation,” said Herb Clark, NABI’s senior vice president. “Its proximity to the NABI headquarters, its state-of-the-art tooling equipment, and its highly trained workforce are a combination of assets that provide an excellent foundation to build on.”
Clark added that the agreement enables NABI to provide continued employment to the more than 100 employees at the facility.
