New Jersey Transit and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) began a six-month effort to promote the ease of traveling between the two systems by connecting at the new Trenton Transit Center.

The effort, which includes posters, fliers and community outreach materials highlighting affordable travel opportunities to New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York, will encourage customers to visit a new Webpage, www.njtransit.com/SEPTA and participate in an online sweepstakes where they can enter for a chance to win weekend getaway packages in New York and Newark.

SEPTA trains and stations will feature Newark and New York destinations accessible by NJ Transit’s Northeast Corridor service, including the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Radio City Music Hall and the American Museum of Natural History. 

NJ Transit trains and stations will promote Philadelphia destinations, such as the Reading Terminal Market and the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Both agencies have also coordinated their schedules and ticketing options to make it easier for customers.
