New Flyer of America Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc., announced the New York City Transit Authority (NYCT) awarded the company with a contract for an additional 377 Xcelsior® 40-foot, heavy-duty transit buses.

The contract, which includes 367 clean diesel and 10 diesel-electric powered Xcelsior buses, will deploy buses into the NYCT network over the next two years as part of its 2015-2019 Capital Program.
